top service, a very pleasant polite engineer

I boooked, two boiler services mine & my mum's. I needed to be present for both. BKplumb went out of their way to bring it in on one day & fixed mum's boiler that had an emergency issue on that same day. Can't fault this service. Big thanks to Abbie & John.

Having used BK before - when we noticed a leak in our boiler cupboard, which was quite heavy, we called them and they came out straight away, they identified the problem quickly, it was the hot water expansion vessel. Being a household of 5, we need hot water! So they immediately went out and got the spare parts required and came back the same day to fix and replace. Friendly, efficient, and a good contact to have.

BK Plumbing came to my house for a problem with a toilet. They removed the toilet and found a bad wax ring. Chris & Bill went out of their way to do an excellent job and with great customer service. They did a great job replacing my toilet and back box containing the cistern after the previous one had leaked into my kitchen below creating a mess. They were polite, efficient and professional. Helyn the office manager was easy to deal with and responded to every query calmly and efficiently.

I have been using BK Plumbing for boiler servicing and gas safety certification for a couple of years and I am very happy with the quality of service. The office staff are friendly and professional and appreciate having the same knowledgeable and helpful gas engineer every year.

Mine was a difficult project as it was for my nephew who has mental health issues. BK worked round all of that, making every adjustment to normal working practice necessary and even started work later to make the experience less stressful. Paul arrived promptly and was polite and friendly. He was unable to do one of the jobs but I was given a second appointment the following week, when he solved the problem. I now have an up to date thermostat, timer and some other gizmo whose name I forget but I am confident that my central heating/hot water system is now working efficiently and - hopefully - more economically.

Quick and easy to get in touch with and have them out. The missus says the guy was super friendly and even had a little classic humour.

Existing 9 year old Ideal boiler had needed topping up regularly for months but got to the point where it needed topping up daily and then stopped working completely. This is when I called BK Plumbing. 2 friendly engineers turned up and identified that the heat exchanger was leaking and a part of the boiler had become blocked by leak sealer. Unblocked which would keep the boiler going in the short term. Issue well explained and shown to me. Given two quotes for 2 different boilers. One Glo-Worm and the other Worcester. No pressure to commit to buying new boiler. After speaking to BK Plumbing for further advice between differences between the 2 boilers, I choose to go for the Worcester boiler. I was not pushed towards one particular boiler even though there was a price difference. Date booked for existing boiler to be removed and replaced with new Worcester boiler. 2 friendly engineers turned up on the day (different from the 2 that turned up to identify the existing boiler not working). Job completed the same day as agreed and they even amended the custom wooden box, which hides pipework under the boiler, to make it fit under the new one. All mess cleaned up inside and outside the house. Shown how boiler controls work including how to top up if required and new wireless thermostat control. All paperwork completed and handed over. Guarantee email and documentation came through a few days following boiler installation as I was told it would. Pressure still holding steady which means no more topping up the boiler and it's not as noisy as the old boiler which is a bonus. I will definitely be contacting BK Plumbing when the boiler service is due or if any other plumbing jobs crop up.

We had a leak in one of our treatment rooms that urgently needed fixing ahead of the bank holiday weekend. We called and within a few hours our plumber arrived and addressed the issue. He was really friendly, professional and efficient.

Fixed my leak on the day nice and quickly. Also swapped my pointless non-return valve out for an isolator, so I'll be better able to fix issues myself in future. The chap was nice and put up with my loud dog and baby.

I know little about plumbing/heating systems and was therefore skeptical of anyone coming round and giving me a quote. Ben came to evaluate my system, very open as to what was needed, never put any pressure on me to commit, came back with a reasonable quote. The team that came to install the system completed on the scheduled time, very open to talking through what they were doing, walked me through what to expect. They left no mess, continually cleaned up after themselves, and the problems they did experience they were open about them and dealt with them in a timely manner. Would highly recommend Job - Remove old heating system, install a new one and relocate the boiler from downstairs to upstairs.

My initial contact was dealt with promptly. An appointment was made and the engineers attended when expected, did the work, cleaned and tidied up and left the room neat and tidy. They were also happy to answer some questions for us which helped us to clarify some future heating needs.

I rang in the hope of getting someone around to repair our toilet within a week or so and was pleasantly surprised they were able to send someone that very same day. John was friendly and professional and actually had the parts on him and repaired the toilet within an hour! I was pleased with such a quick turnaround and over the moon with having a working toilet again after months of fighting with it. I only wished I had rang sooner!

We had it down as a new boiler and radiator, and that is exactly what they did. When we had a new boiler in our last place (with a different company), there was a mess left along with damage to the wall. Not with these guys. I rang to ask if a boiler flue extension could be fitted to my Worcester boiler and within a couple of days, Ellis came to fit it for me. He did a great job and has solved the problem I had with the carport roof being too close to the outlet.
